These Terms & Conditions are thoughtfully designed to create a smooth, respectful, safe, and elevated experience for every client while protecting both the client and the artist. By scheduling an appointment and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined below.
Section 1: Wedding-Day Booking Requirements & Misrepresentation
White Weddings, Traditional Weddings, and Court Weddings require direct inquiry and written approval prior to booking.
Clients intending to receive makeup services for any wedding-related event must contact Legbalo Pro Beauty before booking. Wedding-day services require a custom quote based on factors including the wedding timeline, location, preparation requirements, and the number of faces being serviced.
Wedding-day services may not be booked under standard services, including Signature Glam (In-Studio or On-Location) or Bridal Consultation services, which are strictly intended for non-wedding use.
If it is discovered at any point—before service begins, during service, or on the service date—that an appointment booked under a standard service is intended for a wedding, the service will be immediately stopped and cancelled, and the artist reserves the right to discontinue the service and leave the location. No refund will be issued under any circumstances for failure to disclose wedding intent or for misrepresentation.

Section 2 : Booking & Payment
To secure your appointment time, full payment is required at the time of booking. This reserves your session exclusively and allows the artist to prepare properly for your service.
All payments are non-refundable.
If the artist needs to reschedule your appointment for any reason, your payment may be transferred to a new available date. If the artist must cancel the appointment entirely and cannot accommodate a reschedule, a full refund will be issued.
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen natural conditions outside of both parties’ control, the appointment may be rescheduled to the next available date that aligns with the artist’s schedule. Refunds are not provided in these circumstances.

Section 3 : Cancellations, Rescheduling, No-Shows & Late Arrivals
Your appointment time is prepared in advance and held exclusively for you. For this reason, appointments that are canceled, missed, or abandoned are non-refundable.
Clients may reschedule one time only if the appointment is canceled at least 48 hours in advance. Reschedules are subject to availability and must be completed by the client through the booking confirmation email. Requests made within 48 hours of the appointment time require a new booking.
Clients are responsible for reviewing their schedule, monitoring appointment details, and completing any cancellation or rescheduling within the allowed timeframe.
Clients are expected to arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period is provided. If arrival exceeds 20 minutes, the appointment will be cancelled to accommodate other scheduled clients, and payment will not be refunded.
A single no-show without prior notice may result in immediate revocation of future booking privileges. Clients who demonstrate chronic lateness or repeated no-shows will have all future booking privileges revoked.

Section 4 : Mandatory Add-Ons & Enforcement
Certain appointments require mandatory add-ons based on appointment timing, booking conditions, or service location. These may include early or late appointments, holiday appointments, same-day bookings, on-location services, travel requirements, and paid parking.
Clients are responsible for selecting and paying for all applicable add-ons at the time of booking. If an appointment qualifies for a mandatory add-on that was not selected, Legbalo Pro Beauty reserves the right to cancel the appointment immediately without refund.
All add-ons are non-refundable and must be paid in full prior to service.

Section 5 : Service Eligibility & Shade Range
Legbalo Pro Beauty currently specializes in makeup services for Black women. The products, tools, and techniques used are curated to support this clientele.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the services offered align with their complexion and service needs prior to booking. Appointments booked outside of the supported service range may be cancelled without refund.

Section 6 : Client Preparation & Studio Etiquette
Clients must arrive with a clean face, free of heavy makeup, oils, or residue. Proper skin preparation supports optimal results and efficient service. The artist reserves the right to cleanse the skin as needed.
Food is not permitted inside the studio. Outside meals are not allowed. Legbalo Pro Beauty may offer light refreshments (such as water, soda, or packaged snacks) at the artist’s discretion and availability; refreshments are not guaranteed.
Appointments are for the client receiving service only. Due to limited space, no guests, no children, and no pets are permitted in the studio. A single support person may be allowed only when required due to a disclosed disability and approved in advance.
Large bags, excessive belongings, laptops, or work materials are discouraged to prevent clutter and maintain a safe, clean workspace. Minimal phone use is expected during the service to ensure posture stability, safety, and optimal results.
Legbalo Pro Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior.

Section 7 : Makeup Inspiration & Artistic Discretion
Clients are required to submit an inspiration photo as part of the booking intake form. Inspiration photos are used solely as a reference for overall style and aesthetic.
Legbalo Pro Beauty does not provide exact replicas or “copy-and-paste” makeup looks. Each face is unique, and the final look will be created using the client’s facial structure, skin characteristics, complexion, and the artist’s professional judgment and product selection.
By booking, clients acknowledge and accept that the final makeup look will be an artistic interpretation, not an exact duplication. Dissatisfaction based solely on comparison to an inspiration photo does not constitute a failure to deliver the service.

Section 8 : Service Timing, Adjustments & No Rushing Policy
The service duration displayed at booking reflects the time required to deliver the makeup service at a professional standard. Clients are responsible for selecting an appointment time that reasonably accommodates their schedule, transportation, and any event, photo shoot, or travel plans.
Clients must not rush the service. If a client attempts to rush the artist, repeatedly pressures the artist to speed up, or creates a working environment that prevents the service from being performed safely and professionally, Legbalo Pro Beauty reserves the right to discontinue the service. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
Reasonable adjustments are included within the appointment time. However, repeated major change requests (including repeated requests to remove and restart large portions of the makeup) may not be possible within the scheduled time. If extensive changes are requested beyond what can reasonably be completed within the appointment window, the artist will proceed using professional discretion to finalize the look within the allotted time.

Section 9 : Health, Illness & Rescheduling
For health and safety reasons, services cannot be performed on clients experiencing symptoms such as cold or flu symptoms, COVID-19 symptoms, irritated or peeling skin, open wounds, eye infections, or active cold sores.
Clients feeling unwell or noticing skin concerns must notify the artist at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. With proper notice, clients may reschedule once.
Reschedule requests made within 48 hours cannot be transferred and require a new booking. If symptoms are present upon arrival, the service will not be performed and payment will not be refunded.

Section 10 : Products, Allergies & Client Preferences
Legbalo Pro Beauty uses a curated professional kit. Product selection is based on professional performance, sanitation practices, complexion matching, and desired finish.
Clients must disclose all known allergies, sensitivities, and product reactions prior to the appointment. While professional products and sanitation practices are used, individual reactions may occur.
Product preferences (for example, requesting a specific brand) cannot be guaranteed. Legbalo Pro Beauty does not purchase additional products on demand to accommodate brand preferences.
Clients who strongly prefer specific base products may bring their own unopened or gently used foundation and concealer only if discussed and approved in advance. If a client chooses to provide their own products, Legbalo Pro Beauty is not responsible for the performance, oxidation, shade mismatch, or wear of the client-provided items.

Section 11 : On-Location Services & Environment Requirements
On-location services (travel-to-client services) are available within a 25-mile radius of the salon suites located in Round Rock, Texas 78681, which includes much of the Austin metropolitan area. An on-location travel add-on fee applies.
Locations outside this service radius require direct inquiry and written approval prior to booking. Appointments booked outside the service area without approval will be cancelled without refund.
For on-location services, clients must provide a safe, clean, well-lit, well-ventilated, and spacious environment that can accommodate professional equipment. Children, pets, and unrelated individuals must be kept away from the service area and equipment at all times.
If the environment is unsafe, overcrowded, unsanitary, or unsuitable, the artist reserves the right to cancel the service upon arrival or during service without refund.

Section 12 : Weapons & Safety Policy
For the safety of the artist and all clients, weapons of any kind are not permitted in the studio or in the immediate service area during on-location appointments.
Legbalo Pro Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service immediately if weapons are present or if safety concerns arise. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.

Section 13 : Photo & Video Documentation
Photo and video documentation is a required condition of service and serves as proof of work quality and professional portfolio use.
By booking, clients consent to photos and/or videos being taken before, during, and after the service. These images and videos will be used for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
Clients who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must not book services with Legbalo Pro Beauty. By proceeding with booking, clients waive any rights to compensation or ownership of the content captured.

Section 14 : Studio Access & Appointment-Only Policy
Legbalo Pro Beauty operates inside a secured professional suite building. The building is locked at all times and does not allow walk-in access.
Clients must call or message upon arrival so entry can be granted. Failure to notify the artist upon arrival may result in delayed entry or a missed appointment.
Legbalo Pro Beauty is a strictly appointment-only studio. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Final Acknowledgment & Agreement
Legbalo Pro Beauty values every client and looks forward to providing a high-quality, professional makeup experience. These Terms & Conditions are not intended to discourage bookings, but to promote clarity, mutual respect, and a smooth service experience.
Clients are strongly encouraged to read all terms carefully prior to booking. Violations of these terms may result in cancellation without refund. By proceeding with booking, you acknowledge full understanding and acceptance of these conditions and agree not to dispute or reverse charges relating to services rendered or policies enforced under this agreement.
